Public Walking Tour: Downtown D.C.
This neighborhood tour focuses on the variegated ethnic history of downtown D.C. seen through the perspective of four former synagogues, each telling a story about the different ethnic and religious communities that have shaped Washington’s history. We’ll explore the rich Jewish history of the Seventh Street Corridor and follow the migration of Jews and various other groups in and out of the area.
Meet at the corner of 4th & G Streets, NW.
