JHSGW Board Member Finds 1948 Flag-raiser
Spurred by our Jewish American Heritage Month poster, Diane Wattenberg located the boy who raised the flag of the new State of Israel at the Jewish Agency on Massachusetts Avenue. Now a professor at the Technion: Israel Institute for Technology in Haifa, Oren Zinder shared his memories of the experience with the Washington Jewish Week.
