Samuel H. Sislen
Samuel H. Sislen was on the staff of the Jewish Community Council (1971-1992). His work included serving as point person for the Council’s Soviet Jewry Committee, coordinating logistics for related events (including the 1987 rally), and taking visiting refuseniks to visit the U.S. Capitol and monuments. Sislen was part of the Jewish Community Council’s delegation to the Second (1976) and Third (1983) World Conference on Soviet Jewry.
