2003: On the 55th anniversary of the State of Israel, more than 100 Washingtonians joined 5,000 delegates from around the world at the General Assembly of the United Jewish Communities in Israel. 2002: American and Israeli teens gather at the Western Wall during an Ambassador for Tolerance trip to Israel. As part of the program sponsored by The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington and Partnership 2000, Washington teens learned about religious pluralism, tolerance and diversity with Israeli peers.
